In 2007, Brian Steelglove began Accelerated Assemblies, an electronic contract manufacturing service provider, on the premise that he wanted to focus on clients’ needs in an ever changing fast environment. “It’s time-to-market,” says Steelglove. “We have a lot of clients that have deadlines that simply cannot move. They need their product on time. That’s what we do. That’s why we call ourselves ‘Accelerated’ Assemblies.” Sandy Astin, procurement manager for the company, adds, “The last thing that we want to do is disappoint our customers and not deliver product when we say we’re going to.”

The primary services offered by Accelerated Assemblies include Full Turnkey Assemblies, managed inventory, repairs, test services and printed circuit boards. Steelglove explains, “We assemble the circuit board then we test it, coat it, finish-package it, and ship it to the end client.”

Accelerated Assemblies prides itself on delivering a quality product to companies of all sizes, even small startups. “I was a small company at one time, and if nobody would talk to me, I would have been out of business,” says Steelglove, who knows that providing such quality in a timely fashion to clients, regardless of size, takes a collective effort. “We have a very supportive team here. We treat our employees like family, and they respond with hard work and a willing attitude,”

he adds. Purchasing and Sales Assistant, Gladys

Zambrano, demonstrates this daily. “Helping the

customer find an answer to a question is always the most important thing to me. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll do what it takes to find someone who does.”

The family-based, team-oriented atmosphere at Accelerated Assemblies has been critical to recruiting and retaining talent like sales engineer Chris Cadero. “Several years ago, I was working elsewhere, but I kept hearing what other people were saying about the environment here. Eventually, I decided I wanted to be a part of it.”

The best part about Accelerated Assemblies is the integrity of the employees and the support they provide to the customer.
